How it works

From ID to answer in four steps.

You send the person a link. They verify on their own phone, and you get the result, with the reasons, by webhook.

    Scan the ID

    Live camera capture of a smart ID card, green ID book or passport. We read the barcode or MRZ and check the ID number.

  2. Step 2

    Take a selfie video

    A few seconds of randomised prompts: look straight, turn your head, smile. The sequence is checked on our servers.

  3. Step 3

    Match the face

    The selfie is compared with the portrait on the ID and scored from 0 to 100%.

  4. Step 4

    Get a recommendation

    Approved, Declined or Review, with every reason in plain English. Someone on your team makes the call.

A small API that does one job well.

Create a session, send the person the link, and receive a signed webhook when there's a result.

Privacy and data

Careful with people's information.

An ID and a face are about as personal as data gets. We collect what the check needs, protect it, and don't keep it longer than we should.

Encrypted at rest

ID images and selfie videos are encrypted when they're stored.

Kept for a limited time

Images are deleted after a set retention period, and can be erased sooner through the API.

Live capture only

No file uploads. The person uses their own camera, on a page that shows who is asking.
